Pros/Cons of Wand: cheaper more available equipment, less damage. Will need reset orbs to switch between power staff and power wand

There is only one player I have met so far that is a Mage and still uses a wand to play at level 6X.The benefits of this is that not many players use wand to play Mage, therefore his equipment is alot more cheaper than my one. Anyhow beside this one day, Sober lent me his wand.

I was rather impressed by this wand which had better stats than my staff. So I went out bought a wand and tried this myself. 6 slot wand vs my 6 slot staff. What I found was that the wand did about 100-200 less damage than the staff, but this could also be affected, by the different stats of the two weapons as well. The cast time was not faster.

With some testing if you had the CC credits to buy reset orbs, switching between Staff and wand is a good choice in playing this game. Since wands are more abundant in AH its not hard to find a 8 slot wand, which is better and easier to find than a 5-6slot staff. However, if the staff has 7 slots or more, then it is definitely better than the wand.
